Experiencing God's presence each day.
"My Presence will go with you." Ex 33:14 NKJV
Nicholas Herman was a cook in a monastery. He worried about whether or not he was truly saved. One day while looking at a tree, he realized the truth of the Psalmist's words-that it had to be rooted in something other and deeper than itself (see Ps 1:1-3). That day, he decided to make his life an experiment in what he called a "habitual, silent, secret conversation of the soul with God." He's known today by the new name given to him by his friends: Brother Lawrence. He remained obscure throughout his life and spent the rest of his days in the monastery kitchen.
But the people around him found that rivers of living water flowed out of him that made them want to know God the way he did. "The good brother found God everywhere," one of them wrote, "as much while he was repairing shoes as while he was praying with the community!"
After Brother Lawrence died, his friends put together a book of his letters and conversations. It is called The Practice of the Presence of God, and it is thought to be one of the most widely read books of the last four centuries. This short-order cook has outsold many popular contemporary novelists, and his book is still on best-seller lists. Brother Lawrence said: "The most holy and necessary practice in our spiritual life is the presence of God.
That means finding constant pleasure in His divine company, speaking humbly and lovingly with Him in all seasons, at every moment, without limiting the conversation in any way."

Opening Prayer And Welcome
SPEAKER_00Man. So heavenly father, we say thank you once again for today. Thank you, Lord. Thank you once again for the privilege of coming before you, oh Lord, to learn more at your feet, oh Lord. We say thank you, O Lord, that we're gathered before you, oh Lord, because it is not by our power and by our minds, but by your spirit. We say thank you. Father, Lord, God Almighty, even as we're going to learn, O God, as we are all going to be speaking, we pray, O Lord, you speak through us in the mighty name of Jesus. You give us the godly wisdom we need, O Lord, that we may be able to speak your mind in the mighty name of Jesus. Holy Spirit of the living God, we ask that you prepare all our hearts, Holy Spirit, that the word will fall on fertile ground and the word will germinate good fruit in the mighty name of Jesus. We pray, O Lord, as always, we will not just be hearers, but we will be doers of your word in the mighty name of Jesus. Even as we do, O Lord, we pray you help us to touch other people and teach other people in the mighty name of Jesus. Father Lord, we say thank you. We appreciate you. We glorify your holy name. Let your name and your name alone be glorified today. For in Jesus' name we have prayed. Amen, amen, and amen. Good
What “Experiencing” God Means
SPEAKER_00morning, good morning, everybody. Welcome once again. Thank God for another day. We're already in June, the first Tuesday in June. And today we're talking about experiencing God's presence, experiencing God's presence. And I like um that it said experiencing God's presence. He didn't say um invoking God's presence or getting God's presence. It says experiencing God's presence because God is present everywhere, everywhere. Um He has even told us in Hebrews that He will never leave us, He will never forsake us. You know, in Hebrews 13:5b, I will never leave you nor forsake you, is what he said. And I'll
God’s Presence Is Inescapable
SPEAKER_00just read Psalm 139 just to um reinforce that for us. So I'll read quickly from verse 1 quickly. You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know where I sit and when I rise. You perceive my thoughts from afar, you discern my going out and my lying down. You are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue, you Lord, know it completely. You hear me in behind and before you lay your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain. That is showing that God is all-knowing. And when verse 7 here, it says, Where can I go from your spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go to the heavens, you are there. If I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there, your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me steadfast. If I sit, surely the darkness will hide me, and the light become night around me. Even the darkness will not be dark to you, the night will shine like the day. For darkness is as light to you. Hallelujah. We see here what uh David is telling us. Where can we go from his presence? He is everywhere. You cannot run, you cannot hide. Now, whether we're experiencing that presence, that's a totally different story, and that's why we're talking today about experiencing God's presence each day, each hour, each moment, continually, because he's here. But we have to be intentional about experiencing his presence, and God will help us in the mighty name of Jesus.
Moses’ One Nonnegotiable Request
SPEAKER_00So, on to today's reading, we will read today from Exodus, we're doing from Exodus 33, key verses verse 14. But I start from 12. This is Moses talking to God, and it says, Moses said to the Lord, You have been telling me, lead these people, but you have not let me know whom you will send with me. You have said, I know you by name, you have found favor with me. If you are pleased with me, teach me your way so I may know you and continue to find favor with you. Remember, this nation is your people. And verse 14, the Lord replied, My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest. Then Moses said to him, If your presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here. How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us? What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth? Hallelujah. We see that, verse 14, my presence will go with you. We know that God's presence is everywhere. But that intentional presence, that intentional experience of knowing He's with us. And we see what Moses is even saying, right? It's not just about the promised land. Right? A lot of us we want the blessings. In fact, I remember there was a question where somebody said, if God is not in heaven, will you go, would you want to be there? And I was like, sure, it's heaven. That's what I said. And the person was like, what makes heaven heaven is God. It's not the gold um fitted streets or this or that. If God is not there, there's no point being there. And that's what Moses is saying, too. His presence is the treasure. His presence is what makes the difference. God says, I'll go with you and I will give you rest. His presence is what gives you the rest. His presence is what distinguishes you from the rest of the people. As we'll see with our um Brother Lawrence here. His presence is what makes you a sign and a wonder. It's not just the uh healings that one might be, um one might have the gift of healing, one might have the gift of wisdom, one might have the gift of apostasy, whatever it might be. All those gifts mean nothing unless the presence of the Lord is with you, and that's why we want to experience his presence every day. We want to make it about him and not about anything else, and God will help us in the mighty name of Jesus.
Brother Lawrence And Kitchen Faithfulness
SPEAKER_00So let me start reading. It says Nicholas Herman was a cook in a monastery. He worried about whether or not he was truly saved. Well, what makes us wonder when we wonder if we're truly saved? You know, you're like, okay, was he, did he have a habit that he could not overcome? Did he have uh some sin that was weighing him down? And sometimes that happens with some of us too, when you're like, uh-uh, there's this thing that I've not been able to overcome all this time. This lack of discipline, this uh um unruly tongue, this whatever it might be. You're like, uh-uh, I've been a Christian for so long. Am I truly saved? And he was asking himself that question. So one day, I continue, one day, while looking at the tree, he realized the truth of the psalmist's words, that it had to be rooted in something other and deeper than itself. Hallelujah. That is Psalm 1, 1, 2, 3, and let's go there quickly. Psalm 1, 123 says, Blessed is one who does not walk in step with the wicked, or stand in the way that sinners take, or sit in the company of mockers. But whose delight is in the law of the Lord, who meditates on his Lord day and night, that person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields his fruits in season, whose leaf does not wither, whatever they do prospers. Hallelujah. He's seeing here that when you are plant, when you you are immersed in the law of the Lord, when you delight in God and in his word, that you will be planted firmly, you'll be rooted firmly. And it is echoed here by Jesus. We know this famous chapter, John 15. John 15, where Jesus says, I am the true vine and the father is the gardener. Verse 4 says, Remain in me as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself. It must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine, you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit. Apart from me, you cannot do anything. Verse 7 says, If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish will be done on you. This is to my father's glory that you bear much fruit. Show yourselves to be my disciples. Hallelujah. See that verse 7 that says, if you remain in me and my words remain in you. That's important. That's why we must delight in the law of the Lord. When we delight in the law of the Lord, we meditate on his words day and night, his words remain in us and in us, and we remain in him, we will be like trees planted by the streams of water, we will bear fruit in season. We will have to struggle as much. Because when we are filled with the word, it's hard for the world to be in us. And he, Nicholas Herman, realized this. So that day, I continue, that day he decided to make his life an experiment in which he called a habitual, silent, secret conversation of the soul with God. Hallelujah. He called the experiment a habitual, silent, secret conversation of the soul with God. We notice this secret, habitual, silent. Not that he was just always speaking to himself, but it was private. It wasn't for sure. A lot of us are studying the Bible so that we'll be able to quote Bible verses to other people so we can sound spiritual. Oh, let me read the Bible verse because I don't want to look stupid though when I'm in Bible study. Oh, let me pray, let me learn the names of God so I can know how to say the names of God when I'm praying, when I'm leaving Bible, when I'm leading corporate prayer. Everything we do, we're doing it for sure. We're not doing it as a means to for God, for relationship with God. And as I'm seeing this, I am saying to myself, Father God, please forgive me. Forgive me for trying to live for sure instead of living for you. Everything has always been a means to an end instead of for God Himself. He was focused on God, he was sold to God, and we all need to get there, where it's not about other people, it's about how the intimacy with God, and God will take us there in the mighty name of Jesus. So he's known today by the new name given to him by his friends, Brother Lawrence. The name Brother Lawrence was given to him when he joined the monastery. He actually wanted to be in the military, but things happened. He had an accident, one thing or the other, and he ended up, his life was just guided to the ministry, to the monastery. That's the name that was given to him there. But he remained obscure throughout his life and spent the rest of his life in the monastery kitchen. But the people around him found that rivers of living water flowed out of him that made him, made them want to know God the way he did. The good brother found God everywhere. One of them wrote, as much while he was repairing shoes as while he was praying with the community. Hallelujah. Look at that. He remained up scale. Nobody knew him until after. It didn't matter to him. It did not matter to him because he was doing everything to the glory of God. We see that in 1 Corinthians 10.13. It says, whatever you do, whatever you eat, whether you eat or drink, whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. That's 1 Corinthians 10 31. And we also see in Colossians 3.23 to 24. Colossians 3.23 to 24. Whatever you do, walk at it with all your heart as working for the Lord, not for human masters. Since you know that you receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward, it is the Lord Christ you are serving. Hallelujah. He found God everywhere. Because his mind was always on God. He was God focused. He was God-pleasing. I mean uh he wanted to join the military, right? He wanted to fight for his country, he wanted to quote unquote aspire for greatness. But he ended up being a cook in the bath, and he actually had an injured leg. I was reading about him. So the injured leg having to move around as we are cooking, as we are going from here to there, you move this, move that. It wasn't easy, but he did it all to the glory of God. He did it all to honor his heavenly father. After Brother Lawrence died, his friends put together a book of his letters and conversations. It is called The Practice of the Presence of God. It is thought to be one of the most widely read books of the last four centuries. This short order cook has outsold many popular contemporary novelists, and his book is still on the best-seller lists. Hallelujah. We notice again, you know that his focus wasn't on even writing a book. His focus wasn't on being famous, being a best seller on the best seller list. That wasn't his focus. His focus wasn't fame, it wasn't doing exploits, it wasn't for success, it wasn't for leadership. It was just God, I want to please you. There's nothing wrong with doing exploits, there's nothing wrong with success, there's nothing wrong with being in leadership. But a lot of times we're aspiring for all these things. There's nothing wrong with those, but that should not be our primary focus. How can I honor you, whatever you are putting my hands? And as you are doing everything, you are incorporating him into it. As he's cooking, he's having that silence conversation. Okay, which onion should I use, Lord? Green onion or purple onion. How can I cook this so that I can minister your name? You in this dining hall, do you want me to talk to? As I'm serving everybody their food. This person is yelling at me because the food doesn't taste well. How can I glorify you? His focus was on God in humility. That's why the Bible says, if you humble yourself, the Lord will exalt you in due time. But we have to take our eyes off ourselves and focus on God, and God will help us. So I conclude. The
A Daily Discipline Of Quiet Communion
SPEAKER_00most holy and necessary practice is the presence of God. It's something, a discipline that we're muscle that we build, a discipline we engage in, practicing the presence of God. That means finding constant pleasure in his divine company, speaking humbly and lovingly with him in all seasons, at every moment, without limiting the conversation in any way. Hallelujah. You find constant pleasure in his divine company in everything. The smoke, the flowers, the clouds, your laundry, as you are bathing, as you are cooking. You are using everything as a um means of conversation with God, as a means of interaction with God. You are using everything as you know, that's why Paul says we can pray without season. You are communicating with God at all times. As somebody is talking to you, you are still communicating with God. God, this person is saying this. What do you want me to say? How do you want me to say? Give me wisdom. How do you want me to glorify your name? In all seasons, at every moment, without limiting the conversation in any way. You can talk to him about anything and everything. Remember that Psalm 139 we just read? He already knows our thoughts, anyways. Before we even um think it, he says, You know my thoughts from afar. Before your word is on my tongue, you know it. So he already knows all of that. So you don't have to limit your thoughts in any way. But also, we don't want to limit the conversation in that interaction, not just the speaking, but interaction. We don't want to limit that interaction, we don't want to limit that intimacy. Because we know that that's why we prayed about things that could inhibit his presence. We know that Hebrews 12:1 talks about we should throw off everything that hinders and sin that entangles. We learned that about that on this platform. There are some legitimate things that hinder us, and there's some things that will entangle us. A lot of us, there will be things in our lives, whether it's even social media, it's legitimate, but we might be on there for hours on end, ignoring God. Just like we've seen it happen even with our family, we'll be on Facebook, TikTok, whatever. Somebody's trying to get our attention, we won't pay them attention, and we do it with God. Or even if it's work, even if it's exercise, whatever. We ignore God and that limits the conversation. That limits the conversation, limits the intimacy, it limits the experiencing of his presence when we ignore him. When we engage in activities that dull our senses to him. Where we choose and make decisions that are contrary to his will and his wisdom. They dull our senses to his presence. So let us practice his presence. Let us yearn for his presence. Let's pray for that yearning for his presence. Let's practice his presence. And let's remove anything that could keep us from experiencing to the fullest. And God will help us in the mighty name of Jesus. The floor
Removing Distractions To Abide
SPEAKER_00is open for contributions, please.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, good morning, Sister Tolu. Thank you very much.
SPEAKER_00Good morning, sir.
SPEAKER_02We've been blessed by this. Um and even went further to dig in more information about this and these personal that we discussed today. I think today's topic is very unique when you think about when we know we always say this as we read the script scripture about you know the fall of humans, is because you know we we fell short and we lost God's presence. And for us to be able to find our way to God, that's why Christ came, you know, you know, to show you know Christ is the way the truth and the life. Everything is all inbuilt in it. So for us, even though we say we've accepted Christ as our Lord and Savior, you know, the most important thing for us to truly, we talked about, you know, you said some of this, and we talk about identity and some things in this past month, is for us to truly, for us to be able to live the life that we've been called to live, we we we still need to abide in his presence so that we, you know, so look like that scripture you quoted in John 15, for us to truly be you know productive or to truly live an eternal life, we need to be able to be united in it. And that word experience is like you said from the beginning, is very key. Because you know, we won't really truly know his will's our purpose that we are created. We won't truly live life if we're not united. And as we're united, then we experience it. I think that someone that you read is very unique. Every time I think about it, I mean think about it. If you look at the the first portion of verse one when he talks about all those things, the call is for us to truly be separate of distractions that you mentioned at the end here for us to truly be able to experience because God's presence is right here with us, but the call is how do we truly experience it? You know, in the book of Jeremiah 23, verse 23, he said he's the one that is he the only one that is closer. I think I should read that. Uh Jeremiah. The prophet said this in verse, and it was God revealing himself in this place. Jeremiah 23 says, I am I a God who is only closer than says the Lord. No, I am far away at the same time. Can anyone hide from me in a secret place? Am I not everywhere in all heavens and the earth? Says the Lord. So God is right here, but how can we truly experience this? One of the prayers that you prayed before we began was for us not to take him for granted. If he's that close by us, then for us, when God, you know, when Christ revealed us that he's the truth, the way and the life, we can't accomplish anything without him. You know, what we think we accomplish is not his real and purpose. So the call is for us to experience presence. And when you think about these devotional to them, these gentlemen had to pause, had to look about it, you know, all the yearnings in his heart about lack of fulfillment or lack of, you know, and these we struggle with. Sometimes we re we we we we you know we have this passion, we're like, you know, I'm uh you know, like Paul would say, like, you know, I want to do what I want to do, but I cannot do it. You know, we get into these places, but these particular texts, uh, you know, that um uh that psalm one, like I said, in verse two of that psalm, like you read it, it is very key in that one. It says, I don't want to read verse one. Vaughn already told us to force to be separated to be able to come to him. You see, but verse two says, They delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night. And as we do this, as we separate ourselves from verse one, from distractions, just like you read also in the book of Hebrews 12, as we leave the wave and the sound, the wave, like you said, those things might be legal, but are they truly beneficial? Are they distracting us? You know, I was watching YouTube and all these media social media platforms, they they might not they they they they might be they're legal, it's not like it's an illegal thing, but is it really beneficial for us to take all our time? And I think that is key from that perspective. Is it but they meditate, they give themselves to be able to experience as we meditate, we can experience, but as they meditate, first three says they are like trees planted along the river bank, and they bear fruit, which is a their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all the just like it's a reference to John 15, they have united, you know, and they can fully experience life when you think about fruitfulness and leaves never turning great daddy's truly living because Christ is the way the truth turned out. The life that we're called to live is in the way to live that life, like he lived it for us to see. So for us to experience God's presence, it is to delight in his presence as we delight in his truth, then we can truly uh be fruitful, we can be productive, just like this gentleman said it it became fruitful and it was outflowing that even people that don't know him were able to come to the knowledge of who God is. Like I want to know God that he knows, you know, and I think for us, for us live that life, you know, it's a it as I'm saying it's a conviction to mind. Like, okay, we are we already know we fell short, and that's the reason we you know, but now God's presence with us in Christ Jesus, and why we're not delighted in it, and I and I hope God will help us. Thank you very much.
SPEAKER_00No, thank you so much, sir. Thank you for that. But what I you brought out the key things I could see, how do we experience what you said? Removing all distractions, separating ourselves from distraction, delighting me. Delight in me. When we delight in something, we're more likely to engage with. You know, if you delight in your spouse, you're more likely to engage with your spouse. If you delight in a car, you're more likely to always be around that car, treat that car like a baby, that kind of thing. When we delight in the Lord and His word, we find joy and we abide in Jesus and hearing us. And what's here that you said, you flow out like with our brother Lawrence here. It will just flow out to everybody around us. We don't have to try. And there's nothing wrong with us. We try to be good. Christians, nothing wrong with that. But abiding should be the first thing. Just like somebody has said, you don't see a fruit struggling. You don't see a tree struggling to bear fruit, the fruit just appears. As long as it's nourished well, the tree is nourished well, the fruit appears. And that's the way we should be. When we abide in him and delight in his word and separate ourselves. Um I just said, from all the distractions, from mockers, from wicked and all that stuff, we'll find out that we are doing good fruit. And it is the people around us can't eat the fruit. Thank you so much, sir. More contributions.
Defining God’s Presence As The Word
SPEAKER_01Uh thank you, Rayo. Thank you so much for for a very wonderful contribution. Um, I I wanted to um define want us to actually uh think what is the presence of God. Because when we say we experience it, then we can actually um uh put in perspective what is the presence of God. What is the presence because to many people, presence of God can be anything. Some people they want something that can happen, oh God has shown up for me. Some people they want something God did not give it to them, God has not shown up for them. So the presence of God is who we know God to be in our heart, who we know God to be in our heart, and I will use an example. Uh we see the life of Moses, his first encounter with God, was not on the burning bush, it wasn't on the burning bush. The burning bush is his first first miracle that God showed to Moses. Encounter of God with Moses was when Moses was picked up from the river, and the person that we nursed him was his mother, who is a Jewish. So his mother never took the word of God away from the from the mind of Moses since Moses was born. So the presence of God has been with Moses from birth. That the nurturing of Moses was being about who this God is, and that's why when they saw the Egyptian mistreating the Hebrew, he stepped up and said, This is my people, I'm not gonna let you do that again. So the presence of God is in our heart, with who God is, the word of God in our heart. Jesus said, I'm going, I'll send you the Holy Spirit that will remind you of everything that I have taught you. That's what the presence of God is. Because even if the Holy Spirit is available to us, when we don't have the word of God in our hearts, we will be distracted by the things that we see, the thing we desire, the thing that the pride of life wants us to gain, we will not recognize the presence of God. And I like that last statement that you made that the delightment, our delightment in the in the word of God, in the Lord Himself, through His Word, we only make us better with God. Because when the word of God, Joshua 1.8, tell, we talked about that all the time, that when we meditate in it day and night, we will walk in the way of the Lord. And that is the the the some some one that you read as well. That if we have that delight meant in him, we will be like a tree planted by the riverside. It is not words saying, nor even the action. We see many people that have acted, that have performed, that they know God, but deep down in their heart is still evil. But it is in our heart, it's in our heart if the word of God dwell in our heart. That is the presence of God. When Moses said, when God said, I'm not gonna go except your presence go with me. What person goes with Moses? Did God come down and to show a cloud? Did God carry him? Did God do anything? No. The word that God showed him that don't worry, my presence will go with you. That's what he held until the word of God is the presence of God. God did not physically come and go with Moses. Just hearing that, don't worry, I will go with you. That is what Moses took to Pharaoh. When we are not in the word, when we are not meditating in the word, when we are not giving ourselves to the word, we will give ourselves to what the world is offering. And when we give ourselves to what the world is offering, we will lose the presence of God because they will take over our heart. There's so many things that have taken over our hearts today that God's word doesn't even have any effect anymore in our lives because a lot of things have created that we cannot achieve physically has created doubt that we don't even think about God anymore. We start making our own efforts to try and get this thing, and we find ourselves struggling and struggling and struggling, and we are not relaxed anymore. But look at the experience of this gentleman, Satulu, you broke it down very easily. Oh, before I serve this food, God, whoever who am I serving it to? That we touch your heart. What kind of source do I use? You're communicating with him, you're talking to God and saying my action before I take this action. What am I supposed to do? Oh, I want to go and make social person. Lord, I'm sitting down, the person is talking, and I'm asking the Holy Spirit, hear what this person is saying. I don't have any knowledge, but you're the one that knows the end from the beginning. Please give me the right answer. That is what we are talking about. You're communing with him per moment, per second, at every moment of your step of life. That is the presence of God. That you're not doing things alone. You have somebody in you that you're communing with through the word of God in you, it will give you the right word to say per time. And may God take us to that level. Nobody has gotten there yet. But the grace of God is there. What we need to do is channel our effort to the word of God, then channeling all of our effort to things that are not profitable. Because whatever we channel our effort to today, when it comes to judgment day, they'll be tested by fire. And the one that stands on the word of God is the one that will last for eternity. May God take us there in Jesus' name. Thank you so much, ma'am.
SPEAKER_00Amen.
unknownAmen.
SPEAKER_00Thank you, thank you so much, ma'am. And uh I appreciate what you said last day. Channeling our efforts to the word of God and to practice in the presence of God because we all spend our energy on one thing or the other. Just like we all have the same 24 hours of the day. And that's saying whatever you um value you prioritize, you know, you make time for. You make time for it. And a lot of times we make time for other things. The devil has sold us lies. Oh, you need to be doing this. If you don't do it, nobody will come and do it for you. If you don't put in the effort, if you don't do the energy, you know. You need to just take matters into your own hands and do your part, do your part. Nothing wrong with doing your part. But it should flow out of that relationship with God. You should channel the energy into fellowshiping with God, interacting with him and let him direct us. Let him direct us. In fact, as I was reading about this gentleman, there's a book somebody wrote about him. Um a book of followership in a culture focused on um leadership. Exactly what it says. The call to follow in a in a culture of session leadership. Nothing wrong with leadership. A lot of times we want to run ahead instead of leading under the followership of God. And we need to turn our energy to focus on God and letting Him direct us. No matter how mundane it's God will help us in the mighty name of Jesus. Do we have any other contributions? Do we have any other contributions? The presence of God. The word of God. The word of God. The Bible says the beginning was the word, the word was with God, the word was God. As we meditate on the word, it is so important. We cannot take it for granted. Meditating on the word, the word we hide in our hearts, we will not sin against him. When we hide his word in our hearts, too, he helps us not to sin against him. The more of the word we have in our hearts, the less of the world will have in us. And God will help us to delight in his word. We can pray for it. We can pray for it. That God will help us to delight in his word. And God wants us to delight in his word. So he'll give us that desire. And God will help us in Jesus' name. I'll hand back over to you, sir.
SPEAKER_01Thank you so much, Tatolo. Thank you. Thank you. Appreciate it. Um, one thing that I just wanted to um to if you one thing that Jesus Christ did, and many of us we say this all the time. Jesus said, I do nothing except what the father told me to do. Um there is nothing that Jesus did on the face of the earth except what the father did to do. That's what the word, that's the presence of God. That's what Jesus Christ carried all over. And we should admonish to do that as well. That we make efforts to hear from God, to hear from God through his word, or even through prayer, through meditation before we take any action. Um, spending energy on things that are actually bringing satisfaction to the flesh, um, it's really not profitable because it ends up becoming a chaos. Um, but when we when we get satisfaction from the word of God, from God Himself, it's a lasting satisfaction. And that's why it's so important that we allow ourselves not to let anything entangle us. Things, uh things of bitterness, hatred, and all those things. Those are the things that actually take us away far away from the Lord. Because the Bible is saying that someone that's one that blessed is the one that do not do any of those evil things, but their mind is set on the Lord. So I think it's important that we give ourselves to the decree of the Lord. Psalm 119, verse 7 and 8. Psalm 119, verse 7 and 8 says, as I love your righteous regulation, and we thank you by living as I feel, and we obey your decree. Please don't let me give up, don't give up on me. So God keeps speaking to me. God let me hear more from you. God let me know more about you. So I will continue to do what is right because that's the only way I can live feel with you. And that's not the young man step in the presence of God by obeying his word, by obeying his words, and not try to hide from you. That's the only way we can do things. God is easy, you feel my hand. If I have one iniquity mahack, push them out. If I have one equity manhack, push them out, if I have any vitamin, touch them out, so I can live freely with you. That's the only way we can help. If you can take that so far, then we bring out the season foot in studio. Bring them out.
Invitation To Know Christ Personally
SPEAKER_01We want this out, we want that thing, we want that, we want everything, one section for the lot of the stuff. When we got to custom Jesus, if you don't know Jesus Christ, you're not gonna see you, that's an opportunity this morning. Because if you don't know him, you can get to this other help that you need. I believe you're the son of God, I believe you direct for me, I believe you can direct for me. This morning, I confess you, it's my love and personal studio. Please forgive me of all of my sins. And if you see that for you, we forget. That the Holy Spirit falls upon you. Holy Spirit start leading you and start directing you in the pathway of righteousness in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Look for a Bible-believing church close to you. Tell them if accepted Christ and they will walk with you. But for the rest of us, experiencing the presence of God is as simple as the word of God. Are you hearing from God daily? Or are you hearing from God anytime that you take a step? If not, it's time for us to re-evaluate ourselves and start giving ourselves, prioritizing God's word in our lives so we can experience Him everywhere that we go in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Father,

Every temptation of the enemy that don't want us to walk in line with you. Father, we pray for the grace that we need. Because you say your grace is sufficient for us in every area. Father, give us the grace to overcome those temptations in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Is there any grief? Is that any bitterness? Is there any envy? Is there anything that the enemy may have injected into us and it's grieving us and it's making us to be to act the way you don't want us to act? Lord, this morning we turn all those things over to you. Lord, by your blood, flush them out of us. Father, when the desire comes for us to act irresponsibly out of your word, Father, give us the grace. Holy Spirit, remind us and calm us down to act right. Father, because every day you are changing us, Lord. The day that we need to be changed, Lord, they're still far out, far out. But Lord, as the process continues where we need to make changes, Lord, we ask for your grace. Lord, you will subdue flesh, you will subdue every desire, you will subdue every fleshy action in the name of Jesus Christ. You have promised us great things that will happen to us this month. This month, Lord God Almighty, is the month that you breath, breathe, breathe the breath of freshness into us. And anybody that set up a plan for us, like Aman set up a plan for the children of Israel, Father, raise up Esther for us. Esther that we stand and say that plan will not stand. Father, raise an Esther for us in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Father that they've dug a dig a pit for us, father. We pray if they choose not to seal that pitch themselves and repent from it. Let them fall into that pit in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Father, we pray that Lord God Almighty, your favor that you have bestowed upon Esther, that Lord, make us an Esther for somebody, somebody that needs help. Give us that grace to stand up for that person. Give us that enablement to stand up for that person. Let your favorite let it surround us that Lord, when people are suffering somewhere and we can step up to help them, Lord, do not let us ignore their suffering. But Lord, give us the grace to step up and be an Esther for somebody. As you will send an Esther for us, give us the grace to be an Esther for somebody in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Father, we put Nigeria into your hand, or all of the issues that are going on over there. Lord, we pray for your peace over there. We cover all of our people with the blood of Jesus. All those children that have been adopted, Father, we pray for your hand in the heart of the after uh the people that are doing this atrocity. Touch their heart to release these children in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Father every evil plan of the enemy concerning our family, none of them shall stand in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We cover our family at home with the blood of Jesus Christ, we cover our family abroad with the blood of Jesus Christ, we cover our family here with the blood of Jesus Christ. Father, we will hear no evil concerning anybody in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Father, we thank you for the rest of the day. The Bible study tonight is in your hand. Give your children words to speak tonight in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. At the end of tonight, Lord, give us all the reason to come back and give you glory and give you praise and give you honor and give you adoration in Jesus' mighty name. We have prayed.

Final Reminder And Closing
SPEAKER_01Amen. Thank you so much, actually. Thank you, everybody, for joining. Remember, the presence of God is the word of God. John 1 1. The word was in the beginning, the word was with God, and the word was God. So if you want the presence of God, it's in the word of God. And may God give us the grace to spend more time in His Word and meditate upon His Word so we can give appropriate answers to every challenge that may come our ways in the name of Jesus. Thank you, everybody. Have a wonderful day. Thank you.
