God has given you seed to SOW!
"The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed." Mt 13:31 NIV
Jesus said: "The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches" (vv. 31-32 NIV).
A mustard seed is only two millimeters in diameter and comes in three primary varieties: yellow, black, and white. Within that seed is a remarkable nutritional profile, including vitamins A, B6, B12, C, E, and K. It's also a source of calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, and zinc. It has anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties. Jesus pointed out that when it's planted, it can grow up and become one of the largest trees in the garden, blessing the birds of the air by providing them with a home. Paul wrote: "Now may He who supplies seed to the sower...multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness" (2Co 9:10 NKJV).
Who does God give "seed" to? Sowers, not hoarders! What does God do with your seed when you sow it? He multiplies it! The seed you sow can be in the form of time, service, wisdom, money, compassion, etc. And God promises that when you sow, you will reap His blessing.
"God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work" (2Co 9:8 NIV).
God has given you seed-sow it!
God has given you seed to sow Sowers, not hoarders

The Seed God Put In You
SPEAKER_03So beautiful, you know, and um he said the kingdom of heaven is like a monster seed, it's taken from Matthew 13, verse 31, and he said, God has given you, God has given you seed to sow. God has given you seed, God has given you and I seed to sow. What seed have you been able to? The question is, have we been able to identify the seed that God has given to us to sow? The seed that He has given to Mr. A may not be the seed that he will give to Mr. B. Remember, we always say on this platform that anywhere you are, anywhere you find yourself, it's your mission field. So that gift that God has given to you, how are you using it? Or are you procrastinating? Or have you buried it, you have forgotten, you don't even know anything about it anymore? Or are you confronted with challenges and situations that seems to be overwhelming, and therefore you have let go? These are the questions that we have to ask ourselves because God has given you seed to sow, God has given you a gift, a measure of gift, a ministry God has given to you. Have you been able to identify it? If yes, are you working with it? So these are the things that you know we are going to look into this morning. Praise God. So let's go to Matthew, Matthew chapter 13. Hallelujah. 13 31. He said, Another parable put he fault unto them. The Lord Jesus Christ, the word that is saying this parable, the kingdom of heaven is like also a grain of moster seed, which a man took and sowed in his feed. Which he did is the least of all seeds, but when he is grown, it is the greatest among her, and becoming a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branch thereof. That is that is so beautiful.
The Mustard Seed Parable Explained
SPEAKER_03You know, the Bible says in First Corinthians 3 6, it said Paul was saying that it said, I planted a seed upon the waters, but God gives the increase. So wherever, whatever God gift God has given to us, we are we is for us to obey, then He can the details can come. It just for when he told Abraham, leave your family, your kinggrade, leave it, and go to a place that I will show you. He obeyed. The details follow later. So it's God that gives the increase. That's why the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 4 7. 2 Corinthians 4 7 will say, Now we have this treasure in the earthly vessel, that the excellency of the power may be of God and not us. So it is we is it the power is God that is doing the work. The power to do it, the power to execute it is with God. God gives to us. All we need is our availability. You know, Isaiah said, Here I am, Lord, send me. Say, Who shall I send? He said, Here I am, send me. Faith cometh by hearing, hearing by the word of God. So who is to declare the world? It's you and I. So that we God has given to you, you know, is it prayers? Is it to minister the word of God? Is to is it to evangelize? Is it to help the people of God, the gift of giving? Whatever God has given to you, what God requires from you and I is faithfulness, commitments, dedications. There will be trials, yes. There will be things that will tend to discourage you, yes. There's things that will you are good that will confront you. We can see it in in the life of Paul. Yes, there will be challenges, there will be trial, there will be temptation, but that does not make you give up. It does not stop you because the law will continue to strengthen you as long as your heart is right with God, as long as you make yourself available, that will God has committed to you, make the best of it, be committed to it. Each time I come to uh Chantilly Church, I'm always blessed, and I'm really missing the worship. And brother Bright happens to be here today. You know, he gave, he's so committed to it. Every one of them when the songs are coming, no matter you'll just be broken, you you flow into the spirit because he has paid the price, he has spent time. So, what is that that God has given to you? Are you faithfully doing it? Are you committed to it? Praise God. In 1 Corinthians chapter 1, verse 27. We are told that God has not chosen, God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confirm the wise, to confound the wise. God is not looking for the nobles, it's not looking for oh, uh, doctor of this, doctor of that, PhD, oh, you can speak English very well, oh, you cannot speak English very well. That's not what God is after. There are illiterate that cannot even read the Bible, but the life of God, you can see it in their life. They are not they are not even educated, but they have the life, they are living the life, and when they when they talk with you, power is released from them. You will
Availability Over Ability
SPEAKER_03feel the power. That's what we are talking about. What is that that God has given to them? Hallelujah. Glory to God. There is something I want to uh there's something I want us to read in Luke 14. Luke chapter 14. Let me quickly look for it because it it that has to do with excuses. Excuses, it was the Lord Jesus Christ that gave that parable. Luke chapter 14, and I will start with, I'll just read from verse 16. Luke 14 said, said he unto them, the Lord Jesus Christ was speaking to them, a a great man made a great, a certain man made a great supper and bade many, and sent his servants at the upper time, supper time, to say to them that were bidding, Come, for all things are now ready. And they all with one concert began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must need to go and see it. I pray thee, have me excused. 19. And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them, and I pray thee, have me excused. 20. And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come. So the servant, okay. Now you can read the remaining story down, because of time constraint. Then verse 24 says, Let me jump, let's quickly go to verse 24. It says, For I say unto you that none of those men which were beating shall taste of my supper. So the question today before you and I is God has given you see to fool. Are you giving excuses? Oh, I cannot. Oh, the workload, oh, I have to pay bill, oh, I have to do that. Oh, I have to, I cannot. I'm so sorry. You know, my children, I have to take care of them. I cannot, I will not be able to pray. I will not be able to join prayer group. I will not, oh, I I yesterday I slept too late. I cannot, I cannot, I cannot carry out my assignment today. Oh, I cannot lead prayer, oh, I cannot do that. Is that the excuse? Is that the excuse, brethren? It is not accepted by the Lord Jesus, because you know, before he gives you that talents, he knows you can do it. Because the Bible says he gives to every man according to your capacity, according to your ability. He gives. If he gives you five, if he gives you two or one, at the end of the day, the same reward. What God is requiring from you and is faithfulness, dedication, consistency. Be committed to it. We know how we do our work here, you know. So, but maybe if it's somehow something else, I would have been giving a skill say, No, I can't drive midnight. No, I cannot. Well, that the other is no, I do it. Is that
Excuses That Keep Us From Obeying
SPEAKER_03the situation with you and I? There is room for a change. Remember, mass gift maker room for him. The Bible says stars differeth from stars in glory. Our yieldedness, our commitments, our love for the Lord, whatever we do in his name, even when we give water in the name of the Lord, a cup of water, there is a reward for it. He sees our heart, he knows the little strength that we have, he know how busy schedule, how tight our schedules are, he knows everything. But when we are willing, he will make the grace available for you and I to do that which are asking to. So we read the kingdom of heaven, he said, Jesus said, The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his seed. Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and become a tree. So we can also liken this to our work with God. We may not have the all that it takes to do to carry it out, but uh what is God's expectation is for us to say, Lord, here I am, help me, feel me. It's God that does the work. It has pleased God to choose man to partnership with him in salvation. Even the angels cannot understand what you say. That is why the Sami say, What have you find in man that you are mindful of man? What man, as at now, we are lower than the angels, but the Bible says we shall judge the angel because the life that God wants to bring us into, angels will be subject to us at the end of the day. You can imagine that kind of privilege. Start different from starving glory. So, you know, it is the the the time we put in, the the love, the commitments that we put in, whatever he has given to us, that's what God is after. He gives the increase, the multiplication comes from him. Our owe is to say, Yes, Lord, here I am. To whom much is given, much is expected. If we cannot trade with one talent, why will God give you two? If we can't do with two, why will God give you five? If if we despite little things that you know we are we are given to do, we we don't really we just you know we see it as you know trivialize it, and why will God give you great things? He will not
Small Seeds With Big Impact
SPEAKER_03praise God, may the Lord grant us grace and strength in Jesus' name. A monster seed is only two millimeters in diameters and comes in three primary varieties. Within that seed is a remarkable nutritional profile, including vitamins A, B6, B12, C, E, and K. Oh my god, can you imagine that? All these things can be found in you when you submit, when I submit, will be a blessing to people. We will be comfort, will bring comfort to people, we will be a place of refuge for people. The Bible says a man shall be a place of refuge for his brethren if we ye to him, your life will become you know, be a flowing live, the life of God flowing through you to men and women, if we can just ye to him. Hallelujah! And it's also a source of calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, zinc. It has anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties. One seed, all this quality, all these values, varieties can be expressed through you and I if we submit to God. God has chosen to partnership with man in his work of redemption. So we we have to be his head, his mouth, we have to be his eyes, we have to be his leg and feet, through whom he will travel to reach out to men. And that's why remember uh uh Romans. I'm always talking about that Romans chapter 8, where he said, creation is growing, waiting for the manifestations of the sons of God. Creation is in pain. He said, God has subjected creation to vanity is with hope of redeeming it. And you are the sons, you and I, we are the sons that creation is waiting for. We have to go out, we have to first land at the feet of the Lord Jesus. We have to also we have to first of all die to serve, die to the world, die to to to all those all those things that are not okay. We have to die to the more we we are dead to the war, the more we die to the war, the more the life of God will find expression in us. God will pour his life into us, and that's John John the Baptist knew the secret, even though at the end of the day, you know, he walked contrary well, you know, because there was a time he said, Are you the one that is to come or do we wait for another because he was overwhelmed with the situation when he was in prison? Remember how he said, I will decrease, you will increase. He said, The Lord Jesus will increase, he will decrease. So we are to decrease. Decrease in what sense that is our value, the worldly things, moral failures, the work of the flesh, you know, will go down. We must we must give up, then the life of God will increase, you know, we find expression, we'll become, you know, savon or of men and women that come our way. Hallelujah. So let's read on. Jesus pointed out that when it's planted, it can grow up and become one of the greatest trees in the garden. Blessing the best, look, look at the benefits. See how God can use us to be a blessing to people. Look at this monster seed when it has become a tree. The usefulness, the benefits is so enormous. So he, the Lord Jesus Christ is saying, I mean, the writer of this place is saying that he said, He can grow up and become one of the largest trees regarding, blessing the bears of the air by providing them with a hole. Now, may he who supply seed to the sower multiply the seed you have sowed and increase the fruits of your righteousness. That is it, brethren. What seed have you been given to sow? Do you sow it? Have you
How To Water Your Gift
SPEAKER_03planted the seed? When you plant it, do you water it? Because the seeds for the seed to grow, he needs the sun and water. You must water it, you also need the sun to grow. So, what are these? What the what the sun and the water typify? We must go to the word of God. We must study the word of God. That if if if God has given me the ministry of intersection, I have to spend time in his presence. I have to read the word of God to know what the word of God says concerning a particular thing. I have to spend time in praying. I have to spend set time aside to fast and wait upon him to help me, to anoint me, to give me strength, to empower me. We need that. It's not just sufficient to say, oh, God has given me this. You the the Bible says, wait on your ministry. How do we wait on our ministry? We spend time with the Lord. Whatever God says we should give up, we give up. Whatever constitutes hindrance, we give it up. We go all the way with the Lord. We live in obedience, total obedience of his word. We live in alignment with what God is saying to us in his word. It cannot be do what I say and not what I do. No. What you the message and the messenger must become must be must be the same. That is what God expects from you and I. It abounds, brethren. It's not looking for mighty things, they know. We see it in the life of people in the Bible where God will say, Hey, you video, your mighty man say, How can you say that? Who am I? I'm the least in my my family. That's not what God is. God is just looking for our availability and yieldedness to him. Brethren, the time is short. I pray that the Lord will encourage you and I to make our his calling upon our life and his selection show by our headedness, our commitments, our love for him. Whatever you do, wherever you are. Just play your part on that God and submit to him. That just what God is looking for. Anywhere you are. Wherever you are, what God is after is your heart, your eagerness, your availability. Spending time with him. You know, God can put somebody that is far, far away, millions of miles that you don't even know. He can just you as you are praying, God can put the mouth of the person in your heart to pray for so person, to pray for so you may not even know the name, you just find that you are just praying. God wants to use you and I. When we give excuse, oh, I just marry, oh, I want to go for honeymoon. Oh, I just buy a land, oh, I have to build it. Oh, I need money, I have to work 12 60 hours a day to be able to go and complete that building in Nigeria to do that. It's good, but you will not be available. You you you it's not possible. It is an intentional thing to do, it's a deliberate thing to do. Lord, you know what, Lord, because of this, because of that, I will let this go, I will let that go so I can be available. So we read on you say who does God give seed to so us who cannot if God knows that if that you are going to bury the one talent, there's no need of giving you because it has seven thousands that have no symbolic seven thousands that have not bowed their knees to idols, they have them, not hodls. What does God do? What does what does God do with your seed when you sow it? He multiplies it. That's it. He's the one that gives increase. That's why when Paul Paul was saying, who am I? When there was a division, there was division in church and say, I'm for Apollo, and for this, say, No, I'm for Paul. Say, no, no, we are all no thank God. I plant Apollo. What has God gives secrets? It's God that gives it
Seed Looks Like Time And Service
SPEAKER_03whatever we do, our oys to be. He knows how to go about it. Glory to God. The seed you saw can be in the form of time, service, wisdom, money, and compassion. What you what the seed that you saw can just be, you are just happy. You are you have made yourself available to just help others. You have made your time available, you have made your money available. Everything God has blessed, and whatever God has blessed you with, you have made it available. You you truly God speaks to speak through you to somebody. Jesus Christ is giving to the church wisdom and power. God, you you you cannot exercise yourself in the gift of wisdom if you are not living right. No, it's not possible. That's where death coming, death to self, death to carnality, to wordiness. Then you die, then the life of God increases in you because wisdom comes from God. If we are living our life anyhow, you think God can you are a child of God? Yeah, God give you transparent so that we can be saved and come to knowledge of truth. Second Peter chapter 3. God is a patient God, you know. But you will be limited. You will be limited. Yes, you will be limited. So God wants us to show compassion. God wants us to spend our money for the mission work, for the kings of God, for the church of God. Wherever we know what is the way things operate here, uh where you hire, maybe you rent uh a place for service and all money is needed to pay it, to pay the rent. You know, money is needed to do this, to do that. People are in need. I know how this church has when I was sick. This church helped me greatly. I keep telling my children wherever you are, identify with a church, be going to church when you have a challenge. Church will help you. Look at this church, it's how many was the population of this church, but they are there to help you, they are there to assist you in any way possible. Pastor always asks, is there anything we can do to help do to help you? That is the mind of Christ, and that is what it is, and it has run down to all most of the people in the church there to gain. I told I I tell my I tell I tell my children, I say, Listen, what Tolu, I know Tolu through this church. What Tolu is doing in my life? It takes God for my biological biological children to do it for me. That's the truth. I'm not exaggerating what she does in my life. So, where did I meet her? In the church. So, whatever you do, you are doing it for God. He said, God promises that when you sow, you will reap his blessing. You reap what you sow. You you you may not even uh receive the reward immediately, but your children will weep because you have so you can see seven. What you sow, you reap. God is able to bless you abundantly so that in all things, at all times, having all that you need, you will burn in every good one. God has given you seed. God has given you seed, God has given me seed. What will you do with the seed? So praise God. Hallelujah. Praise
Contributions On Surrendering Ownership
SPEAKER_03God, brethren. Let's have contributions, let's bless one another.
SPEAKER_00Thank you so much, mommy Bridget. God bless you, and uh may the Lord continue. May the Lord continue to strengthen you, continue to grant you all the desire of your heart and set you settle you in the mighty name of Jesus.
SPEAKER_04Amen.
SPEAKER_00This topic today um speaks very, very high volume, and I think um you've stretched it out. Um, what I can only have to eat is that each and every one of us has a seed. And uh thank you because you read those um that Matthew out completely. Uh, the only problem that we have is a seed that we have that God gave us. The reason why we are not using them or planting them is that we claim them to be ours. We claim them to be ours, and we are very reluctant. Anything that belongs to you, you want to think twice before you give anyway. You want to uh protect it, you want to uh find a way to manage it on your own strength, and that is the wrong way of dealing with the gift of God for our lives. Um, there's nothing that we have that's not given to us by God, and everything that God gave to us, He gave them to us for a purpose to use to the glory of his holy name. Everything, I mean everything, from the breath of life to the to the tissue paper we use in our bathroom, he wants us to use them to his glory. It doesn't matter how small that thing is, neither is the how big the thing is, it wants us to use them to his glory. The one that gets married, see himself, that um I've just got married, it's about me, and I should go and do this for God. Uh no, no, no, no, it's gonna affect my marriage. Who gave you the marriage in the first instance?
SPEAKER_04It's God, yeah.
SPEAKER_00The one that gets the land, ah, if I don't go and tilt this land, if I go with this man, this land will be good. Ah, I can't go. Who gave you that land? It is God. The conception of humanity is that when they have something, they think it belongs to them, and they've forgotten that everything that we have is given to us by God. And when God demands the use of those things and he wants to know why are we using those things, it is going to be uh to his glory to turn it back to him. It would be wise to turn it back to him when he requests of it. Remember the the the the the master that gave his uh servant um talents of silver and they come back and one actually just kept it. You remember the reason why that one did not use it? Because he thinks the master is going to be profited, not him. Often, what we think about the the seed that God has given us is that we if we don't use it for ourselves, we are not going to profit out of it. If we use it for God, uh it's God people that will profit out of it. If God people profit out of it, you've used it for God. That's what the matter God gave it to you, use it for God. It's none of your business who God is going to come back and come and judge and how to use it. Now that we're given uh a license to be mismanaging what the resources of God is in our hand. But my point this morning is that it's everything you have. Have you identified how you get them? Have we identified how we receive them? Because when we identify how we receive them and we know they belong to God, then we will be humble on how we sow them. We'll be humble on how we use them, our time, our money, our life, our health, the air that we breathe, even the sleep that we sleep in, the work that we're doing, we will be very conscious that am I doing this to the glory of God or am I doing it for myself motive? Because often we are doing everything for ourselves. And nobody's nobody's excluded out of that. You have a family, I have everything I'm doing for my family. When it's time for if God asks you to come out of your routine for your family, you will question the routine. If we have a job that God gave it to you, but what God is expecting of us is that yes, God, you are asking me to do this. How should I go about it with everything else that you have given me? That's what He wants us to do. And with all the responsibility that you have given me, you give me a house, you gave me a wife, you give me a children, you give me a job to pay the bill, you give me an up uh uh um uh instrumentality and the judge, all of this thing. And now you're calling me to go and do something else. Tell me how do I fit this one into everything you have given me and knowing him, it will open our eye to see what we can shuffle around, or you can even go ahead and rearrange our schedule that we cannot control upside to unfit his narratives. I'm using myself as a testimony because my schedule today, if I had the schedule that I have, if I don't have the schedule that I have today, if I have the schedule that I have 14 years ago, I cannot do what I'm doing today. I cannot. There is no way I could have. But gradually, gradually, God takes some things out of my life, even those things that are taken out of my life are things that are personally useful for me, things that I think I can use when it comes to financial, when it comes to when it comes to uh to to statues, God took them away. When He was taking them away, it was it hurt it because when you are the general manager of uh of a three, four, five star hotel of running a region and you lost it, it took it away little by little. But the same when you're making six-figure salary and he took it away, and you start making ten dollars an hour salary, he took it away, and you look at Dave because so because of what he has committed into your hand, you decided to say, Yes, all those things are gone. This is the greater work that he is giving me, and I'm gonna commit to that work, and gradually he rearranged the schedule. Now, do I see myself moving back to where God wants me to be? Yes. When we come to the realization that everything that we have doesn't belong to us, and when God demands of it, we surrender to him, it may be difficult, but your route might not be the same route that I am going, it might be a different route. When my wife lost her job, it was like uh oh the oh, everything was break loose for three years as at home, and we never lack anything. But but God was there the whole time, it was like everything was like like like closed down, but gradually, gradually, she's God is building her back because she now has time to do things that God wants us to do, and God is building building building a brand that nobody else can even compete with out there. That's what God expects of us. Surrender to Him and let Him have His way, and then we will see how great is the seed in our hands. It's not a small seed, though, it's a big seed, but we must turn it over to Him so we can see that that tree grow to provide shed for the for the leaf for the birds to provide shed for us, even that have a sonic city. We can go under it and sit down and converse. May God take us to that level in Jesus' name. Thank you so much. Thank you.
SPEAKER_03Amen. Amen. As you saw, the Bible says, seek it first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, every other thing shall be added. The word of God is faithful, the word of God is true. Every other thing shall be added. He said, Whatever you give up in my name, you will have the reward here on earth and in the kingdom to come. Hallelujah. Thank you, sir. More contribution. There is nothing we give up in the name of the Lord, in in God's name, in his service, that he does not multiply back to us. Nothing. It's just for us to be strong enough to have that wisdom to know to let go. God will take care of you. If you want to contribute, come in. God will take care of us.
God Rearranges Life When We Yield
SPEAKER_03I will never leave you, I will never forsake you. Yes. Look at the parable of the sower. You know, you know, it was the Lord Jesus Christ that gave the parable of the sower. Oh that those three uh stages or where the seed falling fall or on the or the some of the seed will fall on the ground, on the soil, not inside, and the best they came and and ate it up, of course, because it was not even put in the soil, and another seed, another uh you know, was planted where you have uh thorns and stone it could it cannot go deep, you know, it cannot go deep, it might just grow up, it will not go deep. But we have another one that was planted on the good soil, and that one yielded 34, 64, 800fold. Those other ones that didn't heed, what happened? They were choked, you know. Sometimes we receive the word of God, instruction conquer, this is what I want you to do. We just trivialize it, we don't go working with it, you know, and it just fizzled away because we didn't give it attention, or we have even received it, it has entered, but because of the care of the world, we we do not allow that thing to to to grow, that gift to come up in choke because of the care of the world, you know, like pastor was saying, children, this other who give you the children, is it not God? Those things that God has somehow somehow orchestrates and they think we're taking away from pastor because God is also jealous. God wants to also have his way, God has seen things in him that he needs for his kingdom, but he will not lack, he will not so that's what God that place God is calling us into. So sometimes we are afraid, hey, you know, as Pastor was just talking, something just uh just like I've been reminded again because I come to a place where I work where the extra, where they have extra work, you know, it has become a it's you know, the our manager just tribalized everything, you know, people from his country, her country is will be giving, they give it, they give it, they doesn't give to me. And I and I told myself, I say, Lord, you cannot deny me any good thing. If if if they are not giving me this extra work, and I'm I'm not giving even to do it, father, help me to utilize the time in the things of God, help me to pray for the kingdom, help me to not just to you know be engaged in things that are not relevant, but father engage me, help me take away my heart, take away I have you know, I just have this heart. I just oh, why will this woman be treating me like is he my God? I'm not to live at the mercy of anybody, I actually is is is God is my provider. So those things, if God wants it, it you come. So it's for us to be able to say, Lord, help me, help me when such a situation comes of God, help me. I will help me to to lean on you, you know. Like this song, I always sing it. It said, where fear try to whisper to you that you cannot make it. He said, Lord, let your voice sound louder, reminding me that you are with me. Reminding me that you are with me, brethren. The Lord is interested in you for you to be hearing this message this morning, it's because God is interested in you, God wants your attention if you have no known the area of your calling or that which God wants you to do, it's not it. Ask the Lord, Lord. Here I am, send me before I hand over to Pastor. Let us pray. Oh, oh, oh, so sorry, sister.
SPEAKER_02Sorry, go on. Good morning, ma. Good morning, thank you so much. You have covered the ground. Glory be to God. Amen. We thank God for the ministration, you know. Uh, and thank you, Pastor, for the examples that you also brought in. Yes. Praise to you both in Jesus' name. Amen. Um, yeah, like I said, you've covered the grant. I just want to encourage us, you know, because uh some of the things that are put down, you have discussed them, and I don't really want to uh be doing repetition. But that's one thing that came to my mind when pastor was um talking why some of the things God has given us, we don't use them because we think they belong to us, you know, and we don't want to share. And don't forget, love is sharing. When we share, I mean, we we get more, we get more. It looks as if you are diminishing, but God is increasing you. That's and uh it occurred to me that uh some of this seed, whatever God has given us, that has been highlighted there. Is it uh your kindness, is it uh your arm, is it your whatever? If you don't use them, you are being wicked. It's kind of wickedness. I was just I was just meditating on it, you know, as as as you were talking now, and I was thinking, ah, is this not right? Could it be born out of wickedness? Could it be born out of carelessness? Could it be born out of wastefulness? Could it be as a result of wanting to hold tight? You know, I I I had that one before that holding tight to something so that you will not lose. But I think we have been encouraged today. What is it? What is it? It's an advice. What God has given you to show it, whatever seed God has given you to show it. Be careful. We don't have to be looking at seed of other people. Whatever God has given you, whatever God has given me, mine may be different from yours. It could just be complementary and it could be completely different. We should not look at other people, we should seek inward. Like uh mommy bridges said, he said, we pray that God will reveal unto you, God, what will you have me do? You know, and whatever it is, the grace of obedience God will give unto us. Amen. Because it's one thing to know, it's another thing not to obey. And you know, our adversary, all he wants is for us not to obey, so that we can lose what God has in stock for us. So we need to be careful, and I pray that as we come fellowship on a daily basis with revelation upon revelation of the goodness, mercy, and love of God, the grace to do those things will be more than sufficient for us in Jesus' name. Amen.
SPEAKER_03Thank you, Amen. Amen. Thank you so much for that emphasis on some of the points that have been highlighted. Thank you. We just thank God for being a blessing, bless one another, line upon line, precept upon precept. Thank God for that contribution. Thank you, man. Let me hand over to Pastor. Is Pastor available?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, Pastor is available. Let me quickly put in my contribution as well, man. Thank you so much, mommy Bridget. Thank you, Pastor. Thank you, Mommy Lada, for you know today's topic. It's really very needed for every one of us. Because why did I say it's needed for everyone of us? Because each one of us has been given a seed. Every one of us has a seed. But one thing is that most of the time we overlook the seed, aside from being, you know, taking its past to you know personalize it that oh, it belongs to me, it's mine. Another problem why people don't, you know, use that gift is because they overlook it. Remember the Bible passage of today, Matthew 13, that we read, 31, it said the kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed. And uh the write-up did it very well. Okay, he did it very well because you know, mustard seed is the smallest that was described, and to some other people, their seed is might not be the mustard seed that was given, it might be the seed for mango or whatever it is, you know, but today God is telling us to encourage and to motivate us because many at times we look at others' people's gifts, because the seed that we're talking about is gift that God has given to us. And Mommy Bridget, you know, analyzed it very well, you know, the way you water it, you know, when you have to be conscious about it, you have to guide it with all things because God has given it to you. It's not like God is stupid for giving it to us, He has given it to us for a reason and for a purpose. And if you now see your own seed to be that little, very small, and you think that okay, I can't make use of this and this gift, it's too small. What will people be saying? You know, people will not appreciate, you know, they will not appreciate it. Oh, people will look down on me because I'm not really having those gifts that could make people to actually, you know, recognize me. Because today everybody is looking for recognition. Yes, everybody's looking for prestige, everybody's looking for title, and everybody's looking for position, and anything that cannot give you prestige, position, and title, people will just bury it. Just like the seed, you know, parable of that seed. That person that was given one, he just look at it, there is nothing, and it could be your seed that might be your talent today, because today God is more, you know, is trying to motivate every one of us, bringing us back that every seed has a purpose, and if you fail in that purpose, then you're making that area of you know the kingdom of God to be open to the enemy. And one thing that we need to understand, no matter how small your seed might be, or my seed might be, is to glorify the kingdom of God. It's all about about all it's all about the glory of God, it's not about your your your glory, or people to give you prestige, or people to recognize you, it's not about you, you know. That's the reason, and you know, the workers' meeting that we are doing in school in in church now, last Sunday was exactly the same thing that is related to the seed, and each one has been given based on the grace and the faith in us. So if you want your you know your seed to increase, then we need to work with God more. But one thing is that every seed that God has given to us, they all have their own importance, they are useful. If you look at it like okay, this is from God, it's not from any man. So they are more is more if it's far more than what we see. It might be small, but to God is big, and the same reward which God is going to give to those one that He gave five or ten is still be the same reward that you that you have one who is going to receive. If you use it, if you use it the way God is expecting us, the same reward, we're all going to receive the same reward, but it's all depend how you you know, you you you you you um how will I say it? How you cherish it. How do you cherish that you know what the the gift of God in your life? Remember, it's like a mustard seed, but the may you the more you cherish it more, it becomes bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger. May the Lord help us in the mighty name of Jesus.
SPEAKER_03Amen. Amen. Amen. We thank God for that. Pastor, let me hand over to the pastor.
SPEAKER_00Thank you so much. Thank you, everybody. Thank you.
Worldly Investment Versus Kingdom Investment
SPEAKER_00What a wonderful time so far. Um, one thing that um I want to just um every one of us have we have an assignment that God wants us to use. We have an assignment, um, but the things of this world have consumed us so much that instead of uh God getting increase in our life, the world is getting increase, and God is getting reduced every day. The gift that God has given us, we rather use it for the world than using it for God. We give 95% of our time to the world and we give only five or even less than five to God because the world has stolen every opportunity that we have for God and has taken it to themselves. I just pray that our eye of understanding will open. The song that you sang, there will be a time at night that no man can walk. So do whatever you can do in the day, because there will come a time that you will not be able to do what you want to do. Invest more in God and it's profitable. The more investment you give to the world, trust me, when you get to a certain age, the world will not even look at you anymore. And you've invested everything to the world, and you'll be like, Why did I even do all of those things? But the more you invest into the kingdom of God, into heaven, when the time comes, you will see people coming to your surroundings, people coming to lift you up, people coming to give whatever you don't even expect. May God open our eyes to not waste our time in the mighty name of Jesus.
Invitation To Follow Jesus
SPEAKER_00If you don't know Jesus Christ as a Lord and Savior, you need him first before you can start investing into his kingdom. Uh, all you have to do this morning is repeat after me that Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe you're the Son of God. I believe you died for me. I believe you rose from dead for me. This morning, I confess you as my Lord and personal savior. If you say that prayer, we pray that the Holy Spirit fall upon you. Holy Spirit start leading you and start directing you in the pathway of righteousness in the mighty name of Jesus. Look for a Bible-believing church close to you. Tell them if accepted Christ and they walk with you. Um, if you can find a church, go on the internet, type rccg.org. rccg.org, you will find a redeemed Christian church of God close to you. Tell them if accepted Christ and they walk with you. But for the rest of us, it's simple. You have something that God has given to you. Where are you using it for? Are you using it for his glory or are you using it for self? If you're using it for self, start thinking. Rethink and ask him that God open my eye to where you want me to invest this so that you can yield fruit to your glory in the mighty name of Jesus. Father, thank you for your daughter that you've used today. Thank you for all the contributors. Father, we pray, Lord, we are still in your hand, still on the work. Father, we pray we cannot on our own get it right. Help us. Is there any way that, Lord, we are disobeying you? We're not investing into where you want us to invest into. Help us, guide us. Say the footstep of the righteous and guided by you, and directed by you. Father,
Prayer For Direction And Closing
SPEAKER_00through the blood of Jesus in our life, we confess Jesus Christ. Start directing us to make the right decision. Every worldly decision that we've made that impact your gift in our life, Lord, help us to reverse it in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Is it because of loss or because of marginalization that we may get into that we are afraid of what the world will say? That's the reason why we're putting so much effort into this world. Father, let us know. Open our eyes to see that there is nothing in this world than you. The world is going to perish, but you are going to live forever. Father, help us to stop looking at ourselves, to start looking at you, that you're bigger than the world, to stop looking at our circumstances, but start looking at you because you are all that we need. Help us, Lord, to start seeing what your purpose is for our lives, that we will walk in your alignment with your purpose. Not because we want people to press us that, okay, yes, you've achieved this, you've achieved that, more achievement, more achievement, all this achievement that is not to the glory of God. It's just in vain. May we not labor in vain in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. You say, seeking first the kingdom of God and all this and his righteousness. Father, we see more people today abandoning God's work for the works of the world. We will see more people today saying that this is too much. I can't do this for God and pick up something from the outside world. We see that happening every day. Father, the seed you have given us, even the one that we're using for the world, it comes from you. Lord, help us to make the right decision. Don't let the world corrupt our mind. Don't let the world corrupt your decision making for our life. Help us open our eyes, understanding that it's all about you. We start with you, we're gonna end with you. You are the one that gave us that breath of life on the sixth day when you created men. You gave us dominion over all these things that are having dominion over us. You gave us dominion over all those things, but now those things are controlling us. Father, we ask that Lord have mercy. Open our understanding and rechannel every wrong step that we've made, redirect them back to you in the name of Jesus, right? Just like the prodigal son that have taken everything that he has and blow them away, but we realize that he can still come back. Father, help us to come back. Give us that mind of humility to come back to you in the mighty name of Jesus. Is there anybody out there at this moment that are confused about what the gift is or what God has expected of him? Father, we pray. Bring clarity to their heart, bring clarity to their heart, and let them make the right decision to follow you right in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Bible study tonight is in your hand. Guide us through it. Let only the Father be glorified at the end of it all, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Thank you, everlasting Father. In Jesus' mighty name, we are praying. Amen. Amen. Amen. Let us share the grace. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the sweet fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us now and forevermore. Amen. Surely shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will swear in the eyes of the Lord forever and ever. Amen. And the one the Lord has blessed, so shall it be in Jesus' name. Amen. Thank you so much, Mommy Bridget. Thank you, everybody. Sorry for the time. Come on with the blood of Jesus. Have a wonderful day. A wonderful day. God bless you. Thank you.
SPEAKER_03God bless you. Amen.
